Does anyone know how to make decals from a laser printer? Is there some kind of sheet of acetate or something that could be printed on and applied to a model?

Yes Sir. I had the web site for decal paper www.decalpaper.com it. Google it. I got 18 sheets for a ridiculous $7.00. What you do is, once you have chosen your design etc, You put the single sheet of decal paper in the printer and print it like normal, best quality etc. Then there it is. What you have to do next is spray it with either a clear gloss or mat spray to fix the print otherwise when you soak it to slide it off, the print washes away. Cut it out, soak and enjoy. Something to note though, the decal paper is clear so the plane color/camo will show through the non printed areas. For instance I printed roundels and tail flashes, and the white was not there, that was the paper backing. You cane get white decal paper so that the blank areas show up white. Hope this helps.
