    Hi -
I have plans to build a plane and the instructions suggest building right on the plan itself. How do I protect the plan from getting all stuck up with glue/adhesive?
    Thanks

You know what, I know all about this. You place your plans on a soft piece of wood for the pins to easily stick into. Next you put wax paper on top. This protects the plans and allows the structure to come off easier. Also, the same applies for epoxy. Wax paper, a great invention.

The plans ( MicroSport) are from the old Microflight site. They call for the following:

Motor: DJ Aerotech MPS-1 system (includes prop)
GWS R4P receiver, GWS Pico and Hitec HS -50 servos (has
been flown with both), GWS2 A speed control
    Battery used: 6-cell, 50mAh Ni-Cd

Any suggestions for substitutions that will give longer flight time? There have been some real advances in electronics since this plan was published.

    Thanks. Scott

Late reply, but, the best stuff I have found to cover plans with while building is "Plans protector" from great Planes. Looks like clear MonoKoye but nothing will stick to it, CA or epoxy just peals off!
